Categorising Talent Resource
To ensure we all using the same language to describe and categorise talent Smiths share
a Talent Pool grid in which all talent pool members sit.
There are 5 levels of talent pools from those identified as being potential
functional/project /team leaders through to potential future level one leadership
roles such as a Group Managing Director role. These levels are then further split
into levels of readiness.
There are 4 levels of talent pools.
Level 1 Talent Pool: Global Executive Talent Pool (Direct reports to the Chief Executive)
Level 2 Talent pool: Global Leader Talent Pool
